HEAVEN

Heaven is a holy city, full of the dazzling glory of GOD. The sun dazzles the eyes of men who look at it, how much more will the glory of GOD who made the sun cover the whole heaven? This wonderful city is made of pure gold and the streets are made of gold too. It will appear to anyone walking on the street as if he is walking on transparent glass. Christians sing and worship GOD here on earth but this is just a shadow of what the angels are doing in honour of the great KING. One of the rewards for those who live righteously here on earth is that they are carried to heaven when they die.  Sinners or canal minded fellows are prohibited from entering into the city. Church Priest Uses Water Gun to Spray Holy Water (Photo)

A Mexican priest has a novel way of engaging the younger members of his church by spraying them with holy water from a water gun. Father Humberto Alvarez also wears comic book robes adorned with images of superheroes, including Batman, Superman and Spider-Man. He says he chose those characters because they inhabit traits that he wishes to pass on to his congregation, particularly their “struggle and effort to overcome fear and find peace and forgiveness”, reports  Metro . He hopes that his methods will bring a smile to the face of the children of his church in Saltillo, Mexico, as the community has been hit by drug-related violence and crime in recent years. Alvarez, who has been a priest for 14 years, wears normal robes for adult mass and does not use his water gun. In 2011, Father Juan Ramon Hernandez used a water gun to spray holy water during a sermon about gun violence at his church in Acatlan, Mexico .

[Photos Inside] Gunmen Kill Four Prison Officials, Injures Three in Warri

It was gathered that the bloody incident took place at about nine o’clock in the morning when the vehicles in which the prison warders were conveying some of the prison inmates to court was attacked at the Okere Roundabout in Warri. Viewer Discretion Is Advised Sources said that four of the prisons officials were killed on the spot when the gunmen suddenly opened fire on their vehicle.  Three other officials were said to be lying critically hurt in an undisclosed hospital in the area following gunshot wounds they received during their gun battle with the attackers. The armed gang were said to have operated with two vehicles which they parked at the ever-busy roundabout unknown to the prison officials....
