HEAVEN

Heaven is a holy city, full of the dazzling glory of GOD. The sun dazzles the eyes of men who look at it, how much more will the glory of GOD who made the sun cover the whole heaven?

This wonderful city is made of pure gold and the streets are made of gold too. It will appear to anyone walking on the street as if he is walking on transparent glass. Christians sing and worship GOD here on earth but this is just a shadow of what the angels are doing in honour of the great KING. One of the rewards for those who live righteously here on earth is that they are carried to heaven when they die.  Sinners or canal minded fellows are prohibited from entering into the city.

A PREPARED PLACE

Jesus talked about heaven.”In my father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and Prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also”. John 14:2

 But it is written,” Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has PREPARED for them love him”.1 cor 2:9.

Jesus Christ returned to heaven about 2000 years ago, to prepare a place for his people. There will be celebration and great joy in heaven over these lost and found children of God. The expected    activities in heaven include singing, worship, serving, ruling, fellowship with others and eating to mention a few (Rev 15:3, Rev 5:9, 22:3-5, Matthew 17:3; 2: 17)

No feast and celebration on earth can be compared with what GOD has planned in heaven for his children, the saints, the over comer’s of the world (the pollution of the world), the friends of Jesus Christ who shunned the fashion crazy universe

PREPARED PEOPLE  

People who travel from one country to another know the importance of early preparation .They know that without an international passport and visa they would not be allowed to travel out. After obtaining these travelling documents, they would make other necessary personal preparations. Likewise, those who desire to follow JESUS to heaven must be well prepared before the master comes. It is written:  AMOS 4:12 “Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O ISRAEL (CHOSEN PEOPLE): and because I will do this unto thee, PREPARE to meet thy GOD, O ISRAEL (CHRISTIANS)”. If you do not have JESUS in your life, then you do not have the special passport and can never be issued a VISA. Your VISA represents your Christian life. As it is written: Faith without work is dead and vice – versa (James 2:26). JESUS said;“I am the  way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto my Father but by me” JOHN 14:6. And Jesus also said;” No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day” John 6: 44.      

                                          

CONSEQUENCES OF FAILING TO PREPARE FOR HEAVEN

Missing flights in the world is nothing to be worried about since there are always alternative flights. The situation is different with those who desire to go to heaven. There will be one flight piloted by the master JESUS. All the intending pilgrims must be fully prepared and waiting before his arrival in other not to miss this important flight. Take for instance, the case of the 10 virgins. A story, Jesus Christ told his disciples (Mt 25:1-13). 10 virgins waited for the bride groom, the 5 wise ones were prepared but the other 5 unprepared still lacked oil. When the bride groom tarried, the foolish exhausted their oil and while they went to search for more oil, the master came and the 5 wise ones who were prepared entered the room and the door shut behind them. Afterwards came also the other virgins, saying Lord, Lord Open to us. But he answered, and said; verily I say unto you, I know you not. That is to say that heaven rejects the unprepared people. They will be subjected to the great wrath of God and consequently go into everlasting punishment in hell. 

Be not deceived therefore fornicators, adulterers, liars, witches, occultist, murderers, strivers, coverteous,thieves,smokers,extortioners,hauhty,seducers,drunkards and all who divorce and remarry against Christ’s counsel must repent before it is too late. (1cor 6:9, 10; Gal 5:19-21; Col 3:5-10; Luke 16:18)

Supposing that you die suddenly or while you are reading this blog, where do you think your soul would be taking to? And who among the so called prophets apart from JESUS has promised to raise you up in the last day?

                           Be wise now! JESUS is calling you.

                                           The bible says:

               That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thy heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. Rom. 10:9.
